You went above and beyond. Your keynote talk on "How to Build Relationships using Twitter' was a smashing success, with people still talking about it after the conference. You also did a 'stream talk' showing people how to set up and use Twitter. Seeing people crowding around you during the breaks to ask questions was a sure sign that they loved it. You gave generously. I can't begin to count the number of times someone came to tell me how you had helped them set up their account, or showed them a trick.
You showed people how an event in New Zealand could trend in the top 3 in Ireland, with all your tweeting during the conference.
Professionalism as a Speaker starts long before a conference begins. You were not only extremely responsive to emails, you got involved with the conference, joining the speaker meetings, giving fantastic suggestions, doing podcasts and live streaming, tweeting consistently about #SMCN17. It is a fantastic feeling when, as an organiser, you know you are dealing with a professional that you can rely on. A Social Media Expert that actually walks the talk.
This was even more evident from the minute you landed in New Zealand to the minute you left. Anyone following you on Twitter will clearly see that you are a connector and you genuinely want to help people. No matter where we went, you spread your Twitter Magic. People were drawn to you and you took time for everyone. You walk the talk.
Two companies in New Zealand took the opportunity to gift their products and you took this seriously, Periscoping, tweeting and live streaming about the products. More importantly, you have made connections for them in Ireland.
To anyone looking for a professional speaker that is passionate about their topic, I highly recommend Samantha. She truly is the @Tweetinggoddess.
